No automatch from alternates

Asked by peck

Hi.

I've been having this problem since I installed 0.705. When I choose "search for alternates", I do get several hits, but DC++ doesn't automatch on all of them. At most it automatically downloads the filelist and matches queue from one of the hits (the first if I recall it right) but not the rest. If I rightclick them manually and choose "Match queue" it works like a charm, but I don't want to do this manually.
Previous versions have worked like a charm and I've never had to manually do this, except for a "search for alternates" to make it automatically search for alternates a little sooner than otherwise.

Anyone who has experienced this? Cheers!

Do you have 'Settings/Downloads/Queue/Automatically match queue for auto search hits' enabled?

Thanks for your quick reply eMTee.

I have not changed any settings. The configuration is the same as with the old version of the client. "Automatically match queue for auto search hits" as well as "Automatically search for alternative download locations" are enabled.

What confuses me is that when I do a forced search (rightclick 'Search for alternates') it usually did automatch my queue, but it doesn't anymore. Only one of the hits are automatched. I can't see any logic in it.

I tested it with 0.705 release and it doesn't worked for me either. I
t turned out that the solution (and the cause) is the same as this solved bug : https://bugs.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+bug/212411
You can find the temporary solution there and you can expect this fixed in the next release.

The solution was to disable the "Don't download files already in the queue" option that seems to be broken in later releases. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. :)
Thanks a bunch for the quick support!
