DC++

cant connect

i used to connect fine until randomly one day i get the usual, "connecting to ubdc.no-ip.com..." wait about 15 seconds then i get a message for the past two days that says "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond."

i havent changed anything on my computer or in DC++, not to sure what the issue is, i even upgraded to the newest version to see if it made a difference and it didnt?

This means that the hub is down, or that your internet is down or DC++ didnt have the rights to access it.
Most probably the first answer.

Hi, i have the same problem. Since yesterday i cannot connect to the 2 hubs i used to use. ( surfnet.tropico.se:1418..) and (surfnet.10mb.nl:1518...). I have tried other public hubs of netherlands..but they are not as good as these two. They hardly have any links with emplty slots! Please help...I tried 2 different versions but it still doesnt work...and this never happened before!

Yeh me too. Have the same message when I try to connect to surfnet.tropico.se:1418. also when I go to public hubs I get the message download failed. It started doing this last week for no reason. I too updated to the latest version but this didnt help. I am now fussing with torrents but 2v2 to a fellow highspeed user is way more efficient. help please!
