segmential download

is it possible that the only free slot that is used is given to someone else during the small brake between the changing of segments? If that is so i've to say it's very annoying quality.

anyway if i find a fast connection it won't last long. somewhy the users are changin very often. (this makes 0.705 work slower than previous versions. at least for some individuals who are spending time to find a fast source. i guess the speed might be faster if you count all the users and download times together..)

No, the time between the segments wont release the slot used to download to another user.
That would be less smart if it would been working like that :)

Any speed over 0 kB/s must be good? *just kidding*
But when it comes to the speed and downloads / uploads, there is to many different factors that are depending on each others to be the most optimal for us,
It is low, it is fast, sometimes it just stands still, and then before you know it, your download are completed :)
