DC++

wont open magnets from agards web site any more says unable to open tcp/tls port worked ok in prev version

says file transfers will notwork correctly until you change settings or tun of any application that might be using the tcp/tls port also unable to open udp port serching will not work correctly until you change settings or turn of any application that might be using udp port. it then opens magnet link with file hash and file name in a new dc ++ window but dosent do any thing

You probably have another application that by coincidence, is using the same ports as DC++ wants to. Or perhaps you have another instance of DC++ running. In the latter case, your second instance would try to use the same ports and it would fail.
Try checking if you are using multiple instances and if so, use just one ( If you want more DC++s then just install the program twice in two separate directories)
If that doesn;t work , go to DC++ settings and change the TCP , UDP , TLS ports to some other random values at your desire. Then restart DC++ and see what happens.
