What version of DC++ do you use? Did you added any folders to shared folders list?

"it keeps telling me i have 0 files to share." what do you mean by this? You still have 0 files to share? or your share has 0 files?
Go to sharing, add your folders, then refresh your file list multiple times, perhaps reconnect to the hubs you are in , and see what share you've got again
Also, make sure the directories you are sharing are yours and you have the read rights over them.

Under the sharing settings it says "Note; Files appear in the share only after they've been hashed!".
When adding a folder/files to share to your client, you need to let it hash it all first before you close the client,
or the HashData.dat and HashIndex.xml wont saved whats been hashed so far.
That it shows 0 under the share settings page for some time is normal.

Try to add a folder to share, leave the client for some time, then look in the system log to see whats been happening so far :)
