DC++

can't connect

I just went on dc++ after a while and now I cant connect to any hub. It says that the requested adress is not valid in its context, and the hubs that are in my favorits I can't search for anythibg its just blank. Please help. Thank You

Hi, I am having the same problem. I just upgraded to 0.705 and now all attempts to connect give the message *** The requested address is not valid in its context.

This is very strange as everything was working fine before the upgrade, and all settings were maintained, such as IP address, port forwarding, folders, etc. I tried using different hub list addresses and refreshing, and that did not work.

Can anyone advice us on what could be wrong?

Both of you check your software firewalls if (the upgraded version) of DC++ are correctly enabled. Remove the rule for DC++ then re-enable its access to the internet is the best practice.

Bug? - Program try connect to hubs name, not to adress when select hub from hublist... try to write adress directly
