dc++ groups stopped working

Asked by jojo

a week or two ago, my Nortons required a Windows reboot. afterwards, dc++ would say I'm connected to my groups, but no list of other users, no messages, nothing really. I tried other groups from the public list, but same thing. says I'm connected, but obviously I'm not connected to anything. I uninstalled dc++, removed it from the regedit even, then reinstalled. but I get the same results. I looked at Norton, and it has a firewall exception for dc++ . I just can't seem to get back to my hubs.
I have Windows 7, dc++ newest version, Norton Security Suite.
