Blue or green: to be or not to be (a DC++ user)

Asked by Antonio Macedo

In my list, almost everybody's nicks are wearing a green shirt. Is there any reason for that? Any security issue? How does one change from blue into green?

No security reason, green essentially means your client doesn't know what they are because you haven't established a connection to them. Once you make a download from them it may change to blue (if they're a dc++ user, as you state), or it may remain green. Even if it does remain green just because it isn't DC++ doesn't mean that it's a bad client.
