download folder with partial files that I already have.

Asked by Konstantin on 2015-03-16

Hello. I have downloaded a folder 2 years ago on DC++. That folder is shared and the files have been indexed by Dc++.

I downloaded file list from the same user again and i saw that the folder was updated with more files. About 70% were same files that I already had in my folder.

My wish is to click on download the whole updated folder and that DC++ skips the files I already have in my shared folder. Its abit similiar to when searching with DC++, there is a checkbox you can click, it says : "Hide files that are already shared" . If I click on download the updated folder, will DC++ automatically jump over the files I already have ?

Its a nuisance if there are 1000 files and 70% are already on my harddrive. I dont want to look at all the files and click download seperately 300 ( 30% ) times on those files I dont have.

If the folder structure is still the same DC++ won't download files (by name) that already exists on the target location. You can redownload the folder and you'll have the _new_ (or renamed) files but not any _updated_ (content changed, same name) ones.

Can you help with this problem?
