i cannot find the downloads directory on my computer

Asked by inamorata

i am running .674 version. i did not specify a location to store my downloads once complete, so it downloads to DC++ downloads directory. however when i try to open it, it states that that directory is unavailable and either the files have been stored someplace else, on the hard drive, i need to install a disk, etc. when i search of the downloads folder under DC++ through program files on my computer, there is no downloads folder.

basically, the files that i have downloaded are eating up memory on my computer and i can't remove them. how can i find this downloads directy folder? or if that is not an option can i uninstall DC++ will it remove all of these files with it? and then i can just reinstall DC++ or will these files still be there?

Look in the settings, see where DC++ is set to store them. If they not there, or in the c:\program files\dc++\unfinished directory, try running a search for .dctmp and tell windows to look Everywhere. (even system folders).

Can you help with this problem?
