UPnP problems - how do I manually set NAT?

Asked by Johanna Cederström

I'm trying to install and manage DC++ om my new laptop with Vista. It seems impossible to set up active mode, and to adjust what needs to b adjusted. Been everywhere, and still get this answer from DC++:

09:43] TLS disabled, failed to generate certificate: Det går inte att hitta filen.
[09:43] Failed to load certificate file
[09:43] File list refresh initiated
[09:43] File list refresh finished
[09:43] Error creating magnet registry key
[09:43] Failed to create port mappings. Please set up your NAT yourself.

Anyone who has been there?

You could read the DC++ faq about setting up active mode : http://www.dslreports.com/faq/6518
Use UPnP only if you have UPnP hardware.
Also, it seems that you are running DC++ with insufficient rights, as it can't create magnet registry key.

Can you help with this problem?
