Can download only 1mib, why?

Asked by Complete

If I download a file that has 100Mib my DC++ only downloads 1Mbit at time and after the first 1mbit DC++ restarts the download and download 1mbit and then restart the download 1mib again and again over and over 100 times so the file whith 100mib is complete. Why?

This is because DC++ now downloads in segments, so that if more than one person has the same file, you can download it of multiple people at the same time. You'll find that larger files will get it in larger chunks. :)

It should say this in the download queue ?
Compare total amount downloaded to file size. :)
