DC++

Failed to create port mappings...

Hiya, I've just downloaded DC++, got as far as uploading enough stuff to get onto the hub I want to connect to but it won't seem to let me connect to anyone. It comes up with a message saying "Failed to create port mappings, please set up your NAT yourself" WHAAAAAT! Could someone tell me what its on about? Ta muchly! If it helps I'm on windows XP and am on the university network (which DOES allow us to use DC++)

If you are on the university network , do you have a personal IP address or all students are connected through a router ? If so, you need to portforward some ports for DC++ or use passive mode. More info on DC++ FAQ http://www.dslreports.com/faq/dc/
