DC++

Can't Search Or Download With DC++ Using My New Netgear DG8234G Router

I hope you can help. I have been using DC++ for a while now with my broadband modem with no problems. I recently got a Wireless Router (Netgear DG8234G) from AOL. It works fine on internet but when I use my DC++ program it won't search or download.
Can you please tell me the easiest way to solve this problem. Many Thanks!!

You need to setup your router to redirect some ports to your PC, and in DC++ you need to setup Firewall with ports. ( redirect the tcp, udp and tls ports in those boxes , if empty, input some numbers > 1024 and redirect them ) More info on http://www.dslreports.com/faq/dc/
