Two files download upon first launching DC++ 0.842

I have previously used older versions of this program on other machines. However, I recently downloaded version 0.842 of DC++ and when I first launched the program to fill out my personal information and things like that, it instantly downloaded two files. They appeared in the bottom window for a brief moment, but disappeared seconds after before I could identify them. I'm not sure what the extension of the files were. Perhaps they either weren't files (but the green progress bars were filling up) or this is typical on a first run. I notice that this does not happen in the tutorial videos. I'm just wondering if this is typical for a new install of DC++. Thank you!
