why dc does not support cloud links?

Asked by tirej

I think if dc plus plus support cloud ( Dropbox, sky-drive etc) links it will be very good. All user will able to share their some of file with a small file that consist of title, description and URL by this way the other user of dc will able to find some of file that the user have while he/she offline. All small file that contains URL should updated when the user is online and kept in main machine. (this is future request but I couldn't find where to write since it is not bug )

Where would you store your list of URLs while the client is offline? In the DC network, only the (online) client stores information about shared files, no other members of the network (more information : http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/webhelp/get_started.html ).

We have a combined Bug and Feature tracker to put your requests to, feel free to use for future ideas. However, after reading the above link you'll see that this current idea of yours is not possible to realize within the current structure of the DC network.

Can you help with this problem?
