What do you mean? DC++ password protected?
re-register where?
Perhaps you were registered on some hub, and it requires a password. This has nothing to do with DC++ but with that sole hub, it's owners are the one who can change your password there.

Go to your installed DC++ folder. Most likely it is in ''C:\Program Files\DC++''
In that folder you have a file named ''Favorites.xml'', rightclick that one, chose to open it in notepad.
There you can read your password to any hub you have saved under favorite hubs.
