Problem with refreshing file list

I am trying to connect to a user but been unable to do it and it keep showing this message, "*** *** Refresh your file list before trying to connect to users"

I've tried ctrl+E, F5 and also manually clicking the refresh button but it's still not working.
Can anybody help?

You have two more options of refreshing the filelist, File -> Refresh Filelist and then there's the "/refresh"-command that you can type in inside hubs or chat windows.

/rebuild might also be a command you'd want to run if you keep on moving and altering your share.
And if you encounter hick-ups you can always check the system log for information.

It could also be an user access issue, that DC++ doesn't have the rights to create the filelist, are you running DC under administrative rights? do you receive an UAC popup when launching it?
