Some antivirus programs ( like in a previous post ) may be blocking DC++ in accessing the registry.

What system are you on and what version of DC++ are you using?

To not add the magnet key to the registry, uncheck the "Register with Windows to handle magnet: URI links" box, under Settings -> Advanced.

Im a little bit of rookie to this, can anyone - pls advise were I do the settings in Vista -
