DC++

Problems hashing files with $

I am having problems hashing files with $ the dollar sign in the file name.
I am running 0.674 with windows 7 64 bit.
I have tried to find these files using explorer but explorer lists every file in the folder or drive.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
