Asked by Narender Charan

Hi, i am a colllege student. I have seen my friends running here and there with pendrives and portable hard-disk to take data from one another. So i want to solve this problem.

Hello Narender,

First things first, the software "DC++" is _not_ used for creating a hub. You need another software for starting a hub.
DC++ is then used by others to connect to the hub.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_Connect_%28file_sharing%29#Hub_software for a list of common hub software.

You will also need to make a decision on the type of your hub. Hubs comes in two types:
Direct Connect (DC)
Advanced Direct Connect (ADC) - newer and more advanced (duh!)

Cheers,
Sid
