Connecting to planetlab2 servers at start

Why DC++ (0.799) connects to planetlab2 servers (planetlab2.cs.columbia.edu for instance) at start? Can I disable it?

DC++ gets the current version information at start. You cannot disable it. DC++ uses the Coral CDN by default, this server is probably part of the CDN. You can disable the usage of Coral so then DC++ will connect always to the project home server.
