Stop file refresh?

Asked by Rhenda

Is there a way to stop the file refresh under way? It has been days and I'm getting a lot of SFV error messages. I turned off automatic checking but the refresh and errors keep coming. It is slowing down my computer. I am using version 0.799

Thanks!

Remove the invalid .sfv files from your share and then your files will be finally shared. Until then they'll be tried (and failed) on every restart of DC++. You can temporarily stop indexing in View/Indexing progress but the final solution is to either remove the sfv's or recreate them to contain valid information about the files you share.

eMTee suggests this article as an answer to your question:
FAQ #256: “I can't add certain files to my share and I keep getting this message “Calculated CRC32 does not match the one found in SFV file”.".
