Asked by Dale Geyer

When hashing files does it use any bandwidth as that I have a cap on how much I use. Is hashing uploading my files anywhere or just preparing them on my pc for use on the hubs? I have a cap of 250 gb and I just bought a new pc and I am now hashing over 3 tb of data?

Hashing does not upload anything to anywhere, it is - as the dialog says - only indexing your files.
In any case you can always follow how much bytes transferred from and to your DC++ client in the main window bottom status bar...
