Problem with DC++ after adding NAS device

Asked by Old School

After hooking up an Iomega ix2-200 4TB NAS Device to my system I can no longer perform searches on DC++. I've checked and made sure all connections/networks are set to static (NAS is always static) but it still isn't working. Is this a common problem and/or is there a work-around for it?

Thank you

OS? DC++ version? Used Incoming connection mode? Network layout (local/NAT...etc)?

Generally as long as the computer has static IP address and there's no IP conflict, DC++'s ability to search does not depend on other network elements.

Sorry, I'm on a Vista Machine with a NAT router. I use the PortForward.com software to set my IP to static and it's always seemed to work.

As far as the connection mode, I've always used "Enable automatic incoming connection type detection", but when I noticed I couldn't use the search feature I switched on the UPnP on my router and selected to allow UPnP configuration on DC++, still didn't help.

Also, I'm using DC++ v0.782

Can you help with this problem?
