Searching files in a queue

Asked by nagan

Say I double click folders from a user , they get saved as folders in the download queue. Some folders contain huge files. Is there a way to list all the files which are more than 200mb so that I can move it to some other folder and keep the priority low.

Is there a way to search for a file say abc.mpeg which gets deeply buried in the layers of subfolders. Now I have to watch the transfers and get to the said file , expanding folder by folder.

I hope I am clear. Is there a exhaustive search function for the files in download queue.

Now..Would that be posted as a request. Sometimes I find junk files , to stop which forms a monotonous procedure. What is the way right now?

To use the search fascilities (both for search files in hubs or search within the downloaded file lists) and add only those things to the queue that you really want to download.

This is a general principle anyway.
I understand that some people has large amount of files in the queue for months waiting in a hope to find a source but as sources are searched one by one in minutes long intervals only, chances are to find the right source in the right time is really low, not to mention the resource usage, constant spam of the hub and hubs' users with search requests.

So add only those files to the queue that you need AND there's a chance that it can be downloaded within sane amount of time. If you do it this way, you don't need ever need to search within the queue.

I can convert this as a feature request but because of the reasons above its unlikely that it will be made soon.

Thanks for the reply.
There are some duplicate files in queue holed up in lot of recursive directories etc which I could remove in a click.
Giving a exhaustive search function will only make a user handle the queue better , purge junkies etc and make DC more versatile.

Can you help with this problem?
