%[targetdrive] under Linux

Asked by Pearnaly

Hello Development Team,
I would like to use %[targetdrive] in my temp folder path, according to http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/webhelp/settings_downloads.html but it doesn't seem to work under Linux (it doesn't substitute %[targetdrive] with the mounting point of my hard drives). Is there another dynamic word to use ($TARGETDRIVE or $MOUNTINGPOINT)?

Thank you,

pearnaly

%[targetdrive] is a Windows only feature in the DC++ core (as there are no drive letters in *nix)...

From the version I guess you're not usung DC++ but (an old version) of LinuxDC++ so you'd better ask this on the LinuxDC++ support place ( https://launchpad.net/linuxdcpp ).
This site and the documentation you linked is for a different software than you use (LinuxDC++ using the core of DC++ but is not a complete port of DC++, which is for Windows platform only) . Of course there are many similarities in the two programs so the online help you linked is a good reference for you but its better to ask your questions directly to the LinuxDC++ developers...

Can you help with this problem?
