DC++

Using VPN such as HideMyAss with DC++

Hi,

Does anyone know how to get a VPN such as HideMyAss (HMA) working with DC++ in active mode, so that searches etc work properly.

No matter what connection settings i set (other than passive) i am unable to perform hub searches.

Assuming you use the latest version of DC++, make sure you bind the virtual vpn adapter's IP address to DC++ then select DIrect Connection as the incoming connection type.

Relevant help page : http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/webhelp/settings_expert.html , look for the Bind Address setting.
