worling with dc ia gettin difficult

guys around i have a problem
its been only afew days since i started working with dc
i hav been downloadin a lot of things n my laptop has a lot of programs so der is less space to begin with..
is der a way to stop the downloading programs that are waiting for slots(to be downloaded)..
please i relly need to stop all thise programs
i think my recent downloads r not working due to this problem
i would be grateful if i could get a reply
