DC++

occidental letter set

Hi,

I'm using DC++ on the Japanese version of Windows 7. I would like to be able to write occidental characters (like éàèçùêû..) in the chat. When I go to the settings (File -settings-colors and sounds-Buttun (Select text style)), I cannot change the value of the letter set drop down list. When I set it to "occidental" it automatically switches back to "japanese" :(
Any idea of the problem?
