User specific & collective settings OPTION

Asked by Thomas Allan

It bugs me that you have no choice whether you want to have your DC++ preferences stored universally, or user specifically.
Just because SOME people find it useful, does not mean it fits us all to the settings the same way. I prefer the good old, collective way of storing the settings. It's much easier to assess. I hope it could be made possible to choose, whether you want to store your settings (favorites, hubs, etc.) machine-wide or per user.

Its still and was always possible. You can
1. select the OPTION in the installer, or
2. choose the portable version to download, or
3. read the documentation how to swicth between the two modes

We believe these OPTIONS fit EVERY people who care to find them.

That's odd. I do care to find the option, have been looking in the preferences and in the installation menu - but I haven't seen an option to enable collective storing?

'Store settings in your user profile folder' checkbox in the installer options.

Can you help with this problem?
