DC++ client for NAS - QPKG Plugins

Asked by Ben Kus

As was asked earlier, can someone make a QPKG plugin for DC++ client to run on a NAS.

I understand that you can map the NAS drive onto the PC, but this defeats the purpose as the PC will need to accept the incoming data, process it, then send the outgoing data out to the NAS, effectively wasting the PC network card.

At a LAN, DC++ is highly used, and people generally bring a second file server along just for DC++ so that it doesn't interfere with their gaming PC with using up the PC's CPU and causing Lag.

If you could use an interface to let the NAS process the DC++ data without having to double up the traffic on the network this would be great. Just like QNAP NZB client.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
