DC++ hangs - Win7 x64

Asked by LeChiffre

DC++ works normally, then short after launching it hangs without any error report (but seems to download & send data) .

system: Win 7 x64 ULT., ENG - up to date (but the same problem regards Vista x64),
DC++: 0.761 ENG (most recent) (but the same problem regards previous versions)
decreasing hubs / downloads count - DC hungs even with no open hubs / downloads
firewalls / antivirous / etc. soft. / User Acc.Contr. - re / (de)installation / disabling / updating has no effect

I'll appreciate any reasonable advice.

Thx a lot.

Newest version of DC++ is 0.762 atm. Do you have any special windows display theme installed?

DC++ 0.761 => 0.762 - result => error: Ms Visual C++ Runtime Library: "this app. has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the app.'s support team..." => DC++ hangs

DC ++ => running in Vista compatibility mode - did not help

display theme => Win 7 default + res. 1280 x 1024

might seem reduntant but try reinstalling the MS Visual C++ Runtime libs could be damaged or something but its still worth a shot

I've installed: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) (12.04.2010)
RESULT => DC++ works a bit longer, but finally Ms Visual C++ causes an error and DC++ freezes
I've tried to fix errors in my registry but it didn't helped...
