DC++

How to share files only with specific users

Hi. Is it possible to share personal files with for example family only?
Something like putting an access password for some shared files.
I suppose one could create a HUB with pass, but it looks complicate for a noob like me.

this is not explicitly possible using DC++ at the moment; if you don't want to set up a private hub, one possibility would be to archive your files with a password (i know zip and rar formats support that) so that if a user downloads the password-protected file, he would still not be able to open it.

another possibility is to use a different DC client than DC++; i believe that juCY <http://jucy.eu/> supports drag-and-dropping files directly to a PM window resulting in only that user being able to download the file you've just added.
