DC++

NTVDM CPU Illegal instruction

When I download DC++0.75 I keep getting an error saying "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:06D6 IP:0614 OP:63 72 69 70 74 Chose 'close' to terminate the application"

I cant get passed this please help

what exactly is throwing this, the installer, DC++, your browser? in any case none of these should need to be run in 16-bit mode so it looks like your computer has more problems than just with DC++...

Hi Poy. this message comes up when I try to install DC++, it brings up the DOS screen then just brings up this error and cant move on.

maybe there is some incompatibility between the installer and your computer; in any case, you can simply use the zip archive instead of the installer; just extract it to some directory and run DC++ from there.

also, be on the lookout for the next version (0.760) which should be released very soon.
