connection closed

Asked by ssshah

I've been using dc++ for years and all of a s sudden when i try to connect to a hub i get a message saying:

<Hub-Security> This hub is running version 0.7.14 of Open DC Hub. *** Connection closed.

My roommates are all using this hub, it just seems to be a problem with mine for some reason.

If you stumble to a hub where Open DC Hub 0.7.14 is running, it blocks access to users with DC++ 0.68 & up. Latest version of Open DC Hub is 0.7.15 - Fixed a bug that disconnected users having uncommon connection types. If that don't work, then try other hub networks on DC++.

try to set your "Line speed" setting in DC++ to 5, i have heard that solves it. then again it would be better if you could convince the owners of the hub to update their hub program.

that is up to you, if they have a forum or something, otherwise you'll indeed have to find an older version of DC++ to connect to the hub.

Can you help with this problem?
