Cannot retrieve children if item '/scripts'

Asked by Wedl Bernhard

Hi, I installed datafinder and everythings seems to be installed ok. But when Creating a Configuration, and try to connect to that i always get an error:

"Cannot connect to specific server. Reason:'Cannot retrieve icons. Reason: 'Cannot retrieve children of item '/scripts'. Reason: 'Moved Permanently''' Please try again or create new configuration. -----< "what i did" but still didn't work. It seem's to be bug?!

Can someone help me?

This seems to be a common problem when using a standard Apache with mod_dav. For that reason I put to the "Answers" corner.

To solve the problem you have to slightly adapt yout Apache configuration. Just add the following line to yout httpd.conf:

BrowserMatch "^" redirect-carefully

You can also find this information in our Wiki:

Thanks a lot!

For better understanding, it would be nice if there would be a remark in section 4. of "Quick Start".

I thought the links

•Catacomb (open source)
•Apache + mod_dav (open source)

go to the project pages.

Coukld be changed in e.g.

•Catacomb (open source) "info"/"config"
•Apache + mod_dav (open source) "info"/"config"

Nice work guys!!!

I just adapted the quick start section so it should be clearer now.

Thank you for the hint!
