Missing 'g' Character in German language

Asked by Ingo Wiemann

Hello,

i have succesfully build cuneiform from sources.

One big problem I have seen is, that there often the g is missing in german results!
Anyone has figuered out this too?

Can someone tell me where to check this in code?

Regards
Ingo

Are there different versione of the .dat files? maybe the problem is there?

Where is the official download of them?

Hi Ingo,

Yes, it is possible that the problem is in the DAT files. The official
version is the one that is released with the Cuneiform source code.
These files were extracted from the code drop by Cognitive.

Unfortunately, there is no documentation on how these files were
produced and what is their internal structure...

Thank you for your Answer!

Is it possible to check out the result, without any Dictionary?

Any Flag by code or so on, that cuneiform don´t need this .dat files?

Yes, it looks like this guy has reverse-engineered it to a certain
extent; maybe you will find something useful in this repository.

You can also check out this branch:

https://code.launchpad.net/~anb-symmetrica/cuneiform-linux/cuneiform-multilang

Here there is a version that tried to deal with multiple languages, so
maybe you can find something useful there...

Also, there is a refactoring fork, but it looks like it has been
abandoned as well:

https://code.launchpad.net/~serge-uliss/cuneiform-linux/refactoring

Hello,

I have figured out the missing caracters are only on underlined text!
All characters, that hits the line are missing!

The bold detection and so on is working! I think there is a bug in the underline detection!

Any Ideas?
