how to silence an alarm

The alram goes off as schedule. How do I silence it without closing the application? I have other alarms scheduled. Ubuntu 12.04.

If you look on the main window, you'll see your alarm on switched on. Just click the switch to the off position and the alarm will stop going off. If you want to turn off all of the alarms, you can just go to the application menu and select File - "Deactivate All" or right-click on the application tray icon and select "Deactivate All"

Thanks for confirming it. I was using exactly the same way. I was looking for a more deligant way to silence the alarm., such as a "stop" button.

Yeah... I could probably do something to make it a little more elegant.
