Feature request- If cubic.conf exists in cwd Cubic bypasses the choose project page

Asked by Phil

When running cubic (without arguments) or cubic with providing a path to a cubic.conf file it would be ideal if the initial project selection page could be bypassed and the UI would start with the ISO selection page.

A few questions:

1. Are you are running Cubic from the command line, rather than using the launcher?

2. The "Start" page lists the five most recent Cubic projects in a drop-down, with the most recent listed first. Does this help you?

3. Which directory do you usually chose as your Cubic project directory? (In other words, do you chose your home directory, or do you always have a dedicated sub-directory for your cubic project?)

1. I'm running from the command line. I have a script that creates the cubic.conf file (based on a template) and then runs cubic. Since the script built the conf file it would be ideal if Cubic automatically loaded that one (either explicitly passing it in on the cmd line or finding it in the cwd)

2. Yes, I see that most recent projects in the dropdown.... however, none is pre-selected so it requires me to choose one (even if there's only one) and then "Next". If it auto-selected the single one then I could just hit "Next". Yes, I'm that lazy :)

3. I run from a project directory within a git repo.

Thanks for answering my questions.

(By the way, you can press <Tab>,<Down Arrow> to quickly select the previous Cubic project directory).
