Feature request - double-clicking on a file to copy implies select

Asked by Phil

Running cubic 2021.11-63-release~202111300242~ubuntu20.04.1 (and earlier versions) when selecting a file to copy, double-clicking on the file does nothing. It would be ideal and intuitive if double-clicking on one or more files implied the "select"

I assume you are talking about the file-choosers.
I never realize that double clicking didn't work!
It should work the way you describe; I'll look into this.

(Note: I think you would only be able to double click to select one file. Double clicking after selecting multiple files usually only opens the file that you double clicked on).

Double clicking works on a directory (to enter into it), however when selecting a single file (which is what I do routinely) it does nothing.
