Hello Team,

Services systemctld & systemd is not working.

i am trying to install Cylance protect security software on Ubuntu 21.04 using Cubic but it giving below error message
"System has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate.
Failed to connect to bus: Host is down"

and also both systemctld & systemd services are not working. giving same error message

Mallikarjun,

Your install is failing because it requires services to be running.

The terminal environment in Cubic is just a set of files to which you have isolated/safe root access. In other words you can change/add/delete files, but you can't run any services, as you would in a running operating system. (If you think about it, you wouldn't want any services running in the background that can change/add/delete files without you knowing-- it could mess up or undo your customizations).
