cubic stopped working on Focal

Last week Cubic stopped launching on my Focal desktop. I can't link it to any update or modification. I have since attempted to remove and install without luck. Any suggestions for diagnosing it?

Fixed it. After more digging, I found my locale settings were jacked since gnome-terminal wouldn't launch either. Referenced this https://libre-software.net/ubuntu-setting-locale/
