Not a support question, just a curious query

Asked by RobertX

Now, I am not complaining about Cubic; I've used it for years, and found it to be a useful tool. I thank the developers for the product and I hope to make a secure donation to the project. Please tell me how.

Now, to the question: what are other remaster/customisation tools that are for other distros?

I ask because I want to travel outside of the usual Ubuntu forks. I will continue to use, test, and contribute to the project in any way I can, but just staying in one place seems to be a little too confining.

I just bought a secondhand PC and I would like to see how another GNU/Linux distro will choke under the thing. Probably not too well as it's a 32-bit PC.

If you use another distro, say, Fedora, I would be open to considering it.

Thanks!

Robert,

Donations are always appreciated.

Just click on "Donate" from the menu button in Cubi's header bar.

Donations ave via PayPal.

If you don't want to launch Cubic, the direct URL for Cubic donations is:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=5WJL2ZE3AWGQQ&currency_code=USD&source=url.

Regarding other customization tools, check out these articles:

https://itsubuntu.com/tools-create-custom-linux-os/
https://www.maketecheasier.com/6-tools-to-easily-create-your-own-custom-linux-distro/

I haven't tried these tools myself.
If you try them and you see a feature you think Cubic should include, please let me know.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask RobertX for more information if necessary.
