Asked by Matus

Hi there,

Can I ask for Cubic support for WSL2? I dont want to install virtualization software and I dont want to dual boot. Can you add support Cubic in WSL2 because when its copying files it will issue error in Ubuntu running WSL2.

Cubic needs to mount the original ISO.
Is it possible to use the Linux mount command in WSL?

Also, you must have a file system that can support special characters in the file names, since the Linux files are like this.
Does WSL run on a ext file system?

Matus,

Thanks for checking.

As of now, I would say Cubic would not be able to run in WSL, based on this limitation, even if we could get the other libraries to work. (This is the same reason you can not customize Linux on a mounted FAT file system).

I am always interested in improving Cubic, so if you get some updates or more info on this, please share.

Can you help with this problem?
