Can this be used to customize ubuntu mini.iso?

I'd like to customize the 18.04 LTS mini.iso (64 megabyte file that's just ubuntu with networking)
Is it possible to start with that and work my way up? I'd like to have as little pre-installed software possible.

Cubic allows you to modify a compressed Linux filesystem that is on the Ubuntu Live ISO. Once you are done with your changes, Cubic will recompress the file system and package it into an ISO, along with required boot files.

I believe the mini.iso doesn't have a compressed Linux file system on it that can be customized using Cubic.

I haven't worked with the mini.iso, but I think you would need to modify "preseed" configuration files. Once you've done that, you can create a new ISO that includes your updated config files.

This is not something you would need Cubic for.

One more note, if you are interested in customizing the "Minimal Install" option made available in 18.04, you can indeed use cubic to customize this.

This feature is currently available for testing in the Development series (sudo apt-add-repository ppa:cubic-wizard/development).

It will be moved to the release series (sudo apt-add-repository ppa:cubic-wizard/release) within the next week or two.

Can you add more documentation than what is on the overview and FAQs.

It seems like lots of answers to useful questions are buried deep in the Q&A when they could be made more accessible in some other form.
