no repositories or packges scanned on offline machine

Asked by as

Running Cube 4.0 on Ubuntu 16.04, on machine not connected to the internet.

Directly following the launch of Cube application in the browser, Cube launches, I can create a project and open it. Once Cube opens the project it begins to try and scan. Almost immediately, the scanning icon disappears and it says "no packages found."

I can cursor over the asterisk in menu, and see that I have nearly 2,000 packages installed, but counts for everything else is 0.

I've tried on a different computer running Ubuntu 16.04 that is attached to the internet and everything functions as described in the online guide.

Is there some setting or permission that is blocking cube from scanning repos/packages on the machine not connected to the internet? Why can't it find anything?

Thanks

Hello and sorry for our very late response.

I think the problem here is with your repository list file. This file contains the list of repository links to check for packages.

Could you check it in below path and send it to us?
/projects/<your project name>/data/sources/sources.list

If the line starts with '#', it means it will be ignored.

Can you help with this problem?
