Critical Error Message main request_occured what does it mean

Asked by Robin Technik

Yeah the Server is running with no problems, maybe a bit laggy but thats totally fine but this error message keeps popping up from time to time ** (cube-server.exe:7680): CRITICAL **: main_request_occurred: assertion 'location != NULL' failed

just wanted to ask what it means, and if there's something i can do to make it go away.

heres a link to what it looks like in the cmd prompt

Hello there and thank you for sending your concern.

Though it may sound critical because of the 'CRITICAL' word in it, it is not that critical.
This only appear when you access a link in the cube-server that is not existing.

For example:
Our main page is at http://localhost:8080/

But you access:
Our main page is at http://localhost:8080/notexisting.html

This will cause cube-server to display that the 'location' is null, meaning, that location does not exist.
However, thank you for informing us, since this message should not be displayed and should be handled in a safer manner.

We will fix this and include it in the next release :) But if your concern is if it will affect the processing of cube-server, it does not have an effect and will not cause problems.

Can you help with this problem?
