Cover Thumbnailer

No video thumbs generated.

Hello,

There are no video thumbs generated by me. Do I need some dependencies (ffmpeg) or is there something to configure? I have some .mp4 and .mkv files. Thanks.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server base, xfce 4.10, nautilus 3.4.2

Cover Thumbnailer generates thumbnails for folders only, not for video files.

Thanks for the answer, I understood it after asking my question. If somebody will cross this FAQ, I got the solution for this setup, just do this two commands:

sudo apt-get install ffmpegthumbnailer -y
wget -q http://goo.gl/KofKV -O- | sudo tee /usr/share/thumbnailers/video.thumbnailer
