it doesn't turned dark,just can't be closed.
and when it have no frames

Try right-click > exit
or kill it in gnome system monitor (gnome-system-monitor in terminal)
i worst case save all your work, close everything you can and restart X by simultaneous press of keys Ctrl + Alt + Backspace
